The 3rd Panel Conference on Jurnal Sosiologi Reflektif (JSR) was Successfully Held

The 3rd Panel Conference of the Jurnal Sosiologi Reflektif (Journal of Reflective Sociology) or commonly abbreviated as JSR has taken place on 27-28 November 2019. During the Guest Lecture and Opening Ceremony of the JSR's 3rd Panel with the theme Eat, Pray, and Love: Trends in Sociology of Tourism and Culinary, the Rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, namely Prof. Drs. K.H. Yudian Wahyudi, M.A, Ph.D. delivered his speech. In his remarks, he said that there were figures who said religion was private or incommensurable. In fact, according to the Rector, a healthy and strong religion should be comparable. For example, in Islam, the speed at which a person comes during Friday prayers can be compared to the size of the reward that varies gradually, from camels, goats, chickens, and so on. He also advised that as Indonesians, we must be grateful for all the blessings in Indonesia that have been fought for by the former. He also said that people who develop are people who listen. So, according to him, the guest lecture by the Sociology Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta must be held so that we have various perspectives.

The JSR's 3rd Panel Conference was opened with various interesting activities. Among them was a guest lecture presented by Izak YM, Lattu, Ph.D., a lecturer at UKSW Salatiga, and Dr. Abdul Wahid, M.Ag, a lecturer at UIN Mataram as the sources.
