The Reflective Sociology Journal Accredited the Sinta 3

The Reflective Sociology Journal which is managed under the Sociology Department Laboratory of the Social and Humanity Sciences Faculty, UIN Sunan Kalijaga obtained accreditation of Sinta 3 from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) in number: 34 / E / KPT / 2018. The accreditation is valid for 5 years from Volume 11 Number 2 of 2017 to Volume 15 number 2 of 2021.

The Reflective Sociology Journal Certificate was received on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at the Cenderawasih 2 Jakarta Conventional Center Room, Gatot Subroto Jakarta by Zane, the Sociology staff, who represented the Reflective Sociology Journal team. Zane said that 150 recipients of the journal's certificates were given directly by the Director of Intellectual Scientific Wealth Management, Mr. Hotmatua Daulay.

According to the Sociology Department and the editor in chief of the Reflective Sociology Journal, Achmad Zainal Arifin, Pd.D., said that the accreditation predicate was a great achievement because it was the first time submitting a journal to obtain accreditation of the Sinta 3. In two months later, the journal team will submit again to obtain accreditation of the Sinta 2. Therefore, the academic community participants in UIN Sunan Kalijaga and other academics are expected to visit the Reflective Sociology Journal website actively because the visitation is one of the assessments to obtain accreditation. In addition, Achmad Zainal Arifin, Pd.D. appealed to the entire academic community to cite articles published in the Reflective Sociology Journal because all published papers have been reviewed. Moreover, the Turnitin check has been implemented, so that the quality of the writing is maintained.

About the national conference of the Reflective Sociology Journal, the journal editor, Dr. Muryanti, conveyed that the conference will be held in the journal team in order to improve the writing quality in the Reflective Sociology Journal. The national conference will be held in September 2019. The performers have been shared since several months ago. This conference is the third conference. It is hoped that this third conference will be much more successful than the second conference. Besides the registrants, there will be more various studies on sociology based on the conference theme“Eat, Pray, and Love: Trends in Sociology of Tourism and Culinary.”The conference results while promoting the Reflective Sociology Journal are also expected to obtain quality writings from authors, so the agenda will support maximum accreditation.

Added by Achmad Zainal Arifin, Pd.D., the conference registrants have been using English because the Sociology Journal publishes writings in two languages, English and Indonesian. Furthermore, in the hopes of the journal entries in English, because in 2021, the Sociology Journal would be an international journal. (Napsiah)
